This is Dawn's personal blog. The blog name Orchids in Formaldehyde hints of sweetness and darkness in her views. A paradox of perspective that is sometimes confusingly unpredictable.

How Cooking Can Also Ruin the Fun

Cooking is supposed to be fun. And so is eating! That is why I'm disappointed when cooking and eating isn't fun anymore.

I'm talking about my cinnamon balls. I used to love cinnamon - rolls, balls, in drinks. Even the smell makes me high. But not until 5 days of cooking it. I got a massive headache from the scent, and the idea of eating one is so going to make me vomit. :( So not cool.

Now I can't stand cinnamon anymore. :(

Find the Parrot

There's a parrot lurking among the spilled sugar.

There's no prize though. So don't feel pressured. Lol. But I may tease you if you don't find it. :D

Paper "doll"

I would grant her the "paper" but the "doll" I'm not so sure about. Maybe this child is clinically insane if she finds it fun dressing up aliens. Maybe she's another kuya Onell type... Oops, leads us right back to clinically insane. Hahaha.

Even Keropi isn't amused.

Cinnamon Balls

I started making these cinnamon balls last week because my niece wanted something to sell at school. Some of her classmates are selling; and she said it is okay to sell. Even their teacher buys from them sometimes.

So here, I've searched for a recipe for something easy and cheap to make, and easy to sell as well. I found this in a recipe app I've downloaded and decided to give it a try. Last week, the first batch was simply a trial batch. We ate all of it. :) It was good.

So, after computations and finally deciding that it would do, I bought another set of ingredients for selling this time. They were all sold :D

This time I bought ingredients for a double batch since the first batch only make 15 +/- pieces. I'm still waiting how they sell this time. If there's any left, we'll be eating it. :)
